OVERVIEW

With STAR/DDE, any DDE-capable application can be a database front end simply by using the STAR/DDE client in conjunction with a HyperSTAR server. By using stored queries which are created through STAR/View, STAR/DDE makes it easy to execute simple or complex queries against one or more databases.

TodayÆs desktop applications provide a variety of methods for accessing DDE commands, including command line access and macro languages. With STAR/DDE developers can create applications that better match resources and application needs.
